where can I get another Flex flat cable for it. I think mine is acting up and I am having the same issue as others. the item worked and now it doesn't work. I checked the connections and everything seems to be working except that I am stuck on the logo.

I ordered a FFC off ebay but, it hasn't arrived yet... I too have been stuck at the logo screen since I got it. No clue if the new FFC will work or not, if it doesn't I'm sending it back and getting a new one. Ridiculous they use inferior materials for a hardware solution that is double the cost of anything else available. I understand the cost savings aspect on their end, however with returns and complaints and overall bad user experience using slightly higher quality cables shipped with the product will provide a smoother experience for the customers and increase their popularity and positive reviews.

I was able to get another of the FCC cables from Modchip central where I ordered the original unit, I just had to pay like $5 for shipping. it works fine now. I also have it hooked up directly without the remote. Good luck. I am sure is the cable as mine as soon as cable was replaced it worked.

First post here,but after reading some of the info here it confuses me why everyones going through so much trouble formatting and playing around with the sd card.When i got mine all i did was add my ofw to the sd card only,changed the isomenu to =Y in the cfg,then added the rest of the files for the 1.21 update which i then put on a usbstick and plugged into the controller and turned on the 360 for it to complete the update. ,there was no need to do anything else.As far as the controller i think its pretty useless all it really allows you to do is see that its updating and when its finished.I don't use it now at all and just plug my 2.5 hdd straight into the dongle and thats it.I think some are making things more complicated than it really is,but hope everyone eventually gets their XK's sorted.

Seems somehow i screwed up with flatcable inserted wrong think it shorted... why the fuck can it be connected both ways. Guess i have to order a new xkey damn.

I can't get the flex cable to work, although I think the xkey itself works as when I turn on the console using the power button it seems to be in emulation more and then when I use the dvd eject buton to turn on it seems to be in pass through mode. What am I doing wrong?? I spent most of last night trying to get it to work!
