XKey Longevity?

Hey guys, Just new

I'm thinking about buying the Xkey, Overall it seems the best ODDE out there, My reason for purchase is because im fed up having to burn my games.

My real concern is its longevity, I know nobody can really answer this but is it likely MS can patch it via a dash update? (For example the one due out this Friday). If so is there anything the Xkey makers can do to combat it?

My final question is is there anyway to tell if you are getting the latest revision prior to purchasing (apart from emailing the retailer), Correct me if im wrong but I believe its the R7-2

i can try answer some questions for you.

xkey proved this weekend that they have what it takes to combat anything MS can throw at them. and in a reasonable time frame.

also you can just pm you supplier what revision they have, most likley by now they would have the latest. you also should stay on the offical resellers list

Thanks for the swift reply, yes I seen that about the dae.bin it was very impressive, that is the main reason I think the xkey looks the best as the support appears to be unparalleled.

Being in the UK there is only one official supplier and stocks are still pretty limited, my fear is that if I take the time to email them they may sell out while I await a response.

Im from uk and I bought mines from 3dfury.co.uk as so did some others and they have them in stock. I pre-ordered it from them but it came next day as soon as they received it. They had the latest revision of the xkey.

The chap who runs the site was every so good when emailing.

+1 for 3dfury.co.uk!. Got mine the very next day! no worries! very good service and email response too!. If i was Teensdy id be well annoyed!, i know of at lease two other `non` official seller who go stock days before Teensy a couple of times now!.
